Communication is the process of exchange information and ideas between two or more people. it includes sender, receiver, feedback massage and the channel used to transmit the massage.
Communication is an essential part in our life. People who have poor communication can not communicate with other people effectively because of there powerless communication. However effective communication occurs when the receiver understands the whole massage sent from sender to receiver effectively. This process needs each sender and receiver sharing same language.

Human communication occurs for many reasons. For example, people communicate to enjoy each other and to exchange knowledge. Thus, communication studies divided communication for many types. Such as, interpersonal, intrapersonal, small group, organizational and public communication. All of there types are relatively. In this essay I am going to interpret these types in particular way. I will describe intrapersonal, interpersonal and mass communication there meaning and the situation they used in.
Intrapersonal communication is internal thought within the communicator. In this process the individual becomes his or her own sender and receiver. It can be see in many models such as, in daydream, speaking aloud, writing, reading, gesturing while talking and the communication between human body parts(communication's leacture, 2007-2008, first semester, Applied Science Collage).
On my opinion this type is the basic of all others types of communication because absolutely people can not create a new massage or feedback for previous massage without making internal thought. Exam this when speak to somebody else, you will find that you think before send a new massage to others.
On the other hand some communication experts believe that intrapersonal communication is not one of the communication's types. The argument is within the sender and receiver. They said that in communication's models should be at least tow or more receiver so, in this case there are no communication occur.
Interpersonal communication happens when two people or more communicate with each other. It is "the process of using massages to generate meaning between at least two people ". This is process know the rules or ethics used is a vital thing you have to know to avoid bad sequences. Overall each human stage has its special responds. For example, human babies are yield or move when they touched and when they her sound. Also, adults are engage in interpersonal communication and human relationship. People communicate for many reasons for instance, they communicate to gain knowledge about other individuals. They want to know how they feel and thought. In addition to understand the massage are refer to them. The words people said have different meaning dependently on the way and situation words said in.
Moreover, we interact with interpersonal communication because we want to interpret and receive interpersonal need. According to Willian Schatc he "identified three such need: inclusion, control and affection. Inclusion is important to establish knowledge with others. Also, control is the need to exercise leadership and prove one's abilities. Also according to Rubin he add escape and pleasure. Escape means providing diversion and pleasure mean share living and influencing others(Rubin, Perse, 1988)
All in all groups of interpersonal communication is the best way to make friends and establish a strong relationship with them.
Mass communication target to the extremely large audience mediated by audio or visual media. The purpose of this communication is to entertain, inform and persuade (Judy,P ,Paul,N, Scott,T, and Lynn,H(2003)Human Communication).
This kind of communication is related to mass media such as newspaper, magazine, publishing, radio, television and films. Absolutely mass communication do not dedicate to a particular receiver, it mention to a large scale of audience from different countries and cultures. The sender here is aimed to publish the developing information and make the world closer.
I think this type is very important in our life as a result of its advantages on developing the world and people believe. However, some people feel that there are more over freedom in the media and it is have a negative impact in social life, other feel it is useful to make discussions with other people to get information for different subject for example internet has great affect in nowadays life. It is an easy way to get information very fast and to get people opinions in particular subjects. All in all, studying communication reflects an image for yourself. Communication is "vital to the development of whole person" (Marreale ,Osborn, Pearson, 2000, p.4). on the other hand communication can improve the way others see you. You have to control your behavior that will reflect positive outcomes with others. The important things from studying communication that can teach you important life skills for example, dealing with other people that you may know them or may not. Also, If you are worker or student at collage or school studying communication will help you to be successful in your field because it learn you how to control the attitudes are face you and how organized and specify what do you want.

Student responsibilities

Students in different countries have a lot of responsibilities in their life। Some students have parents support who gives them money for fees and live with them। On the other hand, some students go to study outside their countries that add new responsibilities for them। Also, the culture of some countries bear a lot of responsibilities to students, such as student must have job to pay fees alone। When students have a lot of responsibilities they can't get long rest or sleep comfortably। Students want to balance their responsibilities and sleep. I am going to describe some responsibilities and how they affect sleep habits. Also, I am going to suggest two easy ways to balance students' time.
Many college students have responsibilities not only at college, but also at home or at work. However, these responsibilities are different from one student to another. I conducted some interviews to discuss students' responsibilities with girls who study at Ibri college of Applied Sciences. I found in the interview, girls who stay at the hostel have education, hostel and friends responsibilities, but others who do not stay in the hostel have education, family and friends responsibilities.
The education responsibilities are attending classes on time, doing homework, doing research work, studying and writing assignments, and printing out lectures. The system of study at Applied Sciences College is completely different from other colleges. As a result students must spend time to study hard. Students need to use computer to do their homework and project because that student stay at college when they finish their lecture. Ibtisam Al Malki who stays at hostel said:" Sometimes when I finish my lecture I go to the Lab and spends 3 to 4 hours doing my homework."
Family is an important part in student's life. Students feel they must help their parents and do anything for them. As a result, students have family responsibilities. For example, help their mothers, take care for their brothers and sisters if their mother is not available at home and visit relatives. Ahlam Al Nassier who come to college every day said:" It is not difficult and I don't spent a lot of time doing something at home and helps my mother."
Girls who stay at hostel have hostel responsibilities like cleaning the room, washing clothes, helping roommates and keeping quiet। There are behaviors responsibilities in hostel girls must keep quiet and respect each other. Asia Al Kharusi who stays at hostel said:" All girls must follow the rules of the hostel or they go out of the hostel."

The responsibilities that students often have affect student's sleep habits. As you see, students have different responsibilities that make their day very busy and can't get long rest or go to bed early. Scientists said:" The amount of sleep each person need in a day depend on the person's activities and age." (www.helpguide.org) Also, scientist said:" The average amount of sleep a person needs is six to eight hours per day." (www.disabled-world.com ) All the facts say sleep is necessary and vital for human health. As a result, students need to sleep six to eight hours a day. However, all students have the same problem. It is going to bed late because they have a lot of responsibilities which they need to do on time. A lot of responsibilities affect student's health. In addition, sleep affects the part of memory in the brain. After you learn something new, sleep helps you to recover memories. However, students have no time to sleep well because of that student study level goes down dramatically.
Students need to balance responsibilities and sleep to succeed their life. I am going to describe two ways of balancing responsibilities and sleep. Most students have problem to complete work on time. I see one way of solving this problem is write your own schedule for their day and for the week. That will help them to manage their time. When you have scheduled divide your time to do all responsibilities in a day. You must stick with the schedule to finish everything on time and go to bed early. Because you live in Islamic Country, I think the good way to divide your time depend on the time of prayers. You have five prayers in a day. You can divide your works to do something before prayer and something after prayer. You must do thing before the time of prey coming. I see it is a good way because I am student and try a lot of ways to do my homework on time and I succeed with this way.
The other way is this. Some students help their family and work in a part time job. Those students have problems doing homework on time because sometimes they finish work late. To solve their problems, I see you must keep time and not waste time. Don't put off doing your homework on time because you discover you have a lot of homework you need to finish. You should try to keep on time to succeed in your study and help your family at the same time. As a result, when you manage your time to do your responsibilities on time, you find time to get rest and sleep early. I see these students who can study and work successfully at the same time as ideal students.
All in all, students in different places ask for a solution to this problem। All students dream to succeed in life and reach the top. I think the society must help students to complete their studies, after that get other responsibilities. When students have a lot of responsibilities, they have no time to do everything on time and get rest or go to bed early. As a result, students fail in their study and live a difficult life. I hope all students find a good way to solve their problems and succeed in their life.

Intelligence

What is Intelligence? Anyone can define intelligence because it is an open-ended word. Psychologists who study intelligence define it. McDougal (2001:158-159) states that "Intelligence is the ability to learn and adopt to the environment". Also, Howard Gardner viewed intelligence as "the capacity to solve problems or to fashion products that are valued in one or more cultural setting". (Marca Registrada(1991:V10-P320)) Psychologists defined eight types of intelligence. I will highlight three types which are considered strong types of intelligence. Then, I will discuss the relationship between them and education.
Musical intelligence is the ability to discern and express musical forms and sensitivity to rhythm, tone and timbre. This intelligence can recognize, create and reproduce music.(http://htm.myweb.org) Also, the people who have this kind of intelligence are a highly developed ability to distinguish the sound of a violin form that of a flute or human voice. So, a person strong in this area is good with music and rhythm. To be intelligent musically Howard Gardner says that: "you still need to practice things, remember things, compare things, new skills to ones that you already know".(http://www.videojug.com) Musical intelligence in education is very important because the teachers using recording in different materials and may to show the students some films have different sound. Students can increase musical intelligence by listening carefully when teachers do that. The good careers for musically intelligent people is composers, musicians and conductors. The famous examples of musically intelligent people is Yoyo Ma and Beethoven.
Logical-Mathematical Intelligence is the ability to understand numbers and logical concepts. This intelligence can analyze problems logically, carry out mathematical operations and perceive numerical and logical patterns.(http://htm.myweb.org) So, a person in this area is good with math and logic problems. To be intelligent logical-mathematically Howard Gardner says that: "you need more practicing with number, organizing the new information that we find".(http://www.videojued.com) Education can increase logical-mathematical intelligence in different method. For example, teachers can use a different approach to teach the mathematics material and give students more activity with numbers and hypotheses. These students enjoy solving puzzles and arithmetic problems. Teachers can give students more proposition with difficult problems. Physicists, computer programmers and business are examples of logical-mathematically intelligent people. Famous examples of logical-mathematically intelligent people is Albert Einstein.
Linguistic Intelligence is the ability to use language, express yourself and understand people. It "is the ability to think words and to use language to express and appreciate complex meanings". (http://skyview.vansd.org) So, a person strong in this area is good with words. The best way to be intelligent linguistically is learning through hearing, speaking or seeing words. Education can improve linguistic intelligence in different ways. People specially students have this intelligence love speaking, writing and reading. Teachers can do many practice and activities with include this thing, I mentioned previous. For example, give students many subject. Also, students can make presentation in classes. Students who have this intelligence can easily learn more than one language. There are many people have this type of intelligence for instance poets, writers, journalists, lawyers and public speakers. Famous examples of people have linguistic intelligence is William Shakespeare.

Technology

Technology is knowledge of using tools and machines to do tasks more efficiently। Technology has become a very important part of our lives nowadays। People are always trying to find something new that will improve our lives dramatically। Some of the discoveries that have really changed our lives are the computer, telephone, internet and e-mail, television and mobile। The technology that surrounds almost everyone in the modern society affects both work and recreational activities। Everything has a positive and a negative effect on our lives and so does technology. Technology may be very helpful but it can sometimes be very harmful. I am going to describe some of the advantages and disadvantages of modern technology.

There are more advantages in technologies than disadvantages. The first and the major advantages of technology is that makes life easier to live and save time. For example, at home you can use microwave ovens to cook food easily without using any stoves and making a big mess and dishwashers to put all dirty dishes into them and it washes them automatically. At school, the teacher has different machines that can be used to teach the information to students easily. For example, teachers can use some computer programs and a projector to explain the subject. Also, students can use the internet as an educational tool for schoolwork. In all fields you can see technology has made work very easily and more effective.

A main advantage of technology is it makes communication between people easy and quicker. The telephone has brought people closer together in the sense that distance did not inhibit a phone call. People can communicate with each other around the globe by simply text messaging used e-mail or instant messages (IM). Business people use the internet to do business with other different countries. They can contact their employers by using internet. "Rapid communications and information transmission have helped to transform workplaces around the world."(Ruggiero, 1999, p.111) Also, modern communication allows banking to be done electronically. All in all, communication has changed the world economy.

Technologies create many problems in society. For example, technology creates financial problems in families because most technologies are very expensive to buy, like computers, televisions and refrigerators. People who cannot buy this kind of technology live stressful life. Another thing that technology has created is diversity in employment. Today without a degree or certificate young people cannot get good jobs. This is a problem for people who don't go to school to get education. Unemployment rate increases because of this problem. The other major problem technology creates is dominant culture. People use different methods to know the customs and traditions in other countries. People admire these customs and traditions and try to change how to act, dress and behave. Sometimes this change creates problems in the society because it is different from the customs and traditions the society has. All in all, technology is the primary cause resulting in dominant culture.

Technology creates health problems. For example, the development of mobile phones brought many advantages to the world. Communications between people are easier and faster. However, the mobile has brought disadvantages that cannot be ignored. Symptoms caused by the radiation of mobile phones. "Many scientists believe that the radiation from the mobile phones may cause the users to have different symptoms such as headache, earaches, blurring of vision and even causing cancer." (www.FratFiles.com) Also, the computer creates health problems with people who spend large amounts of time working with computer in workstation. For example, the wrong type of chair or desk caused Lower Back Pain. Also, while typing when one it moving the neck up and down, left and right too much it cases Neck Pain. The other health problems cased by computer are Pain Wrists and Fingers and Strain in the eyes. Also, musical droop when to set a long time in the same way. Computer, mobile phone and other technology create health problems.

As you see, technology has advantage and disadvantages that affect life in different ways. Technology has made life easier and saves time in different fields such as, communications, education, and business. However, technology has created problems in society and people's health. People can use technology to get benefit in work and life. But sometimes people use technology in the wrong way for personal benefit such as, when the spread wrong and dangerous information that frightens people. I see that people need to respect technology and use it in the right way to enhance the advantages and minimize disadvantages of technology. The use of technology today has encouraged people to create other technology that will benefit us in the future for communication, education, health, etc.
